BSides Groningen 2026 was a tremendous success!

BSides is a community-driven framework built by and for members of the information security community. Its goal is to expand the spectrum of conversations beyond the traditional boundaries of conferences, creating a space where knowledge sharing, collaboration, and community come first.

After the success of BSides Groningen 2025, our ambition for this year was to bring together at least 150 people from the infosec community. And together, we went even bigger. This year’s event welcomed approximately 230 participants, and we received more than 80 talk submissions from across the cybersecurity field. The enthusiasm and engagement from the community exceeded all expectations.
The day featured four dedicated tracks filled with inspiring sessions, practical insights, and hands-on experiences:

• Technical Track
• Governance & Compliancy Track
• AI Track
• Workshop Track

From technical deep dives to discussions about governance, compliance, and the evolving role of AI within cybersecurity, the program offered something for everyone. More importantly, the event created space for people to connect — whether meeting new faces, reconnecting with familiar ones, or exchanging ideas with fellow cybersecurity enthusiasts.
