About BSides

Each BSides is a community-driven framework for building events for and by information security community members. The goal is to expand the spectrum of conversation beyond the traditional confines of space and time. It creates opportunities for individuals to both present and participate in an intimate atmosphere that encourages collaboration. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from participants. It is where conversations for the next-big-thing are happening. After the succes of BSides 2025 & 2026, our goal is to bring together at least 200 people from the infosec community.

Calender

1. Call for presentation

  • September 1, 2026: Call for Presentations opens at 12.00 AM.
  • February 15, 2027: Call for Presentations closes at 11.59 PM.

2. Tickets

  • The tickets for BSides Groningen 2027 will be released around february 2027. More information will follow soon.

3. BSides Groningen

  • April 9, 2027: BSides Groningen will take place at Kinepolis in Groningen.

 

About BSides Groningen

BSides is a community-driven framework built by and for members of the information security community. Its goal is to expand the spectrum of conversations beyond the traditional boundaries of conferences, creating a space where knowledge sharing, collaboration, and community come first. In 2027, BSides will be held in Groningen for the third time.

BSides Groningen will be held at Kinepolis Groningen. The cinema is located in the “Euroborg” next to the FC Groningen football stadium. With the largest screens in the north, it is the perfect location for talks during BSides Groningen!
